Who are we and why do we do what we do?
We’re a group of PC gamers. We started gaming in 90s, and even though we have families and responsibilities, we haven’t stopped playing. In some cases, we even still play the same games, as all these Fortnites etc. don’t really appeal to us.
Anyway, it’s not why we’re here. This website came to life for different reasons. First and foremost: we’re against high prices for games, we hate the fact you cannot sell game that you bought. We still remember those good times, when you could just give CD to your friend, and the only DRM was that you needed to have this CD inserted, and you could play all you wanted, use multiplayer, etc. And it’s still possible with console games. Why this can’t be in the same way on PCs? Well, the only answer that came to our minds is greed of publishers.
We’ve been using G2A.com (if you don’t know what it is… nah, not possible, you wouldn’t be on this website in that case) for many years already, bought dozens of games, and never had any big issues. Not a single game was revoked. Sometimes there was a problem with payment, sometimes the code didn’t work, but we could solve it quickly.
We’ve noticed many people often ask “is g2a legit“, “is it safe to buy on g2a”, “is it true g2a hurts game developers” etc. Basically there are hundreds of different answers. Not surprisingly, most of them are false, as most of them base on “somebody once told me, and I didn’t care enough to check the facts, ’cause who cares”.
That’s why we’ve made a lot of research, gathered many links and materials to check what is true from what people say on the internet. And this is exactly it: the sole purpose of this website is to check facts, not exchange opinions. If we’re not sure about something, we just say it. Some things will always be a matter of discussion, but with many it’s just the plain facts, that nobody can argue with.
Last but not least. We’re not paid by anyone to run this website. The only thing we want to ask you is to click on this link (we use it also in many different places), if you want to check the website and its offers. It’s an affiliate link, so if you decide to buy something after clicking that link, we’ll get a small cut of your order. Clicking on it costs you nothing, the money for us goes from G2A’s pocket, not yours. Thanks!
