What’s the deal with the Money Back Guarantee on g2a?

There might be a situation where you get a key on g2a, and it doesn’t work for some reason and the seller doesn’t want to help you, even though that’s what they absolutely should do.

So, g2a came up with something they call a money back guarantee program for customers. The way they describe it, it lets you get your money back if what you bought on g2a doesn’t match the description, or if there’s a problem that the seller doesn’t want to fix, or your game suddenly gets removed from your account for some reason.

The first thing you got to do is contact the seller and ask him or her to help you out. If they do that, awesome, give them a thumbs up or something, tell other peeps this seller’s cool, etc.

But if they don’t reply to you in 7 days or don’t fix the problem, then you can file a claim. G2a lets you do that within a year from your purchase, so you’ve got 365 days to handle this. There’s a bunch of details to fill in, so follow the instructions, and you should be good. It’ll probably take some time for g2a to review your claim and make a decision.

If everything’s OK, you’ll get a refund from g2a.

By the way, don’t abuse this system, or you might end up being unable to file more claims. G2a says three claims at a time will do, but four or more look kinda sketchy, and they wouldn’t want anyone abusing anybody.

Still, g2a says that basically 99% of transactions on their marketplace are successful, and the 1% that’s left are problems that are easily solved by sellers or g2a’s support, so the money back guarantee seems like something that’s good to be out there, but there’s a very high chance you’ll never have to use it.
